Apex Credit has a poor BBB rating of F. That in itself doesn’t necessarily mean they are a bad company. However, at this time we can not recommend them. Apex Credit’s poor rating is based upon 11 complaints with 1 complaint unresolved, and a failure to respond to 1 other complaint. These complaints were all based upon service issues. Since services are not provided until a signed contract is in place, make sure to review it carefully, and understand exactly what you will be getting, how you will be updated, and the cost that you can expect in the end if you decide to go with Apex.

eCreditAttorneys currently has a BBB rating of F. The Better Business Bureau claims that “Complaints contain a pattern of serious allegations that the company does not provide the credit repair services paid for. Customers state that after months of paying the company, they do not notice any results and then receive the run around when they call to cancel. The company responds to some complaints by indicating the clients had been canceled and refunded as requested.”

Unfortunately, out of 6 complaints, 4 went unanswered. At this time we can not recommend eCreditAttorney.

Trinity Credit Services currently has a BBB rating of F. However, it looks like out of the 28 complaints they’ve had in the last 36 months, all of them were resolved. This is a good sign that Trinity is working with their clients to make things right in a delicate business where dealing with credit bureaus is not an easy job. However, at this time we can not recommend them.

Academy Credit currently has an unacceptable BBB rating of F. While we do not solely base our recommendation on a company’s BBB rating, it is definitely a factor. Academy’s rating was due to 33 complaints issued with only one left unresolved, so it seems like they are at least working on their rating. The majority of these complaints stemmed from billing and collecting issues, sales practices, and refund or exchange problems. If you decide to go with Academy Credit, make sure to review their terms of agreement carefully before beginning to receive services.
